Have you ever felt like you're loaded down with life. Well that's why Spring Break was created. It is that week, that one week we all look to as college students to get away. To escape from reality and to enter into a week of blissful, wonderful, joyful, happiness. That place for me is in New Mexico at a place call Glorieta, where I can relax, take a walk in the mountains, go sking, catch up with old freinds (the term "old" does not in reference to age, in case any girls happen to read this) The Men's Fellowship where true MANHOOD is born. More than that I get to hear from speakers who know how to walk with God, and I get to have some of that sweet God time myself. Oh then there is the "follies." The one night that not even I can speak on, for it is so wonderful, words can not tell of it's wonderfulness. What is this wonderful night about, perhaps you should come see for yourself.

My Valentine Rant

Chocolates and stuffed teddy bear…$15 saved

1 Dozen Roses…$20 saved

Dinner for two…$40 saved

Having the house to yourself because your roommates are gone…Priceless

There are some things men can’t afford…for everything else there’s the bachelor’s life.

The original bluetooth

Ok so I was talking to a friend the other night catching up and my arm got tired of holding the phone and I got that nasty sweaty feeling between the phone and your ear. Yeah it was gross. Anyway I don't have the speaker phone option so I did the next best thing, my taekwondo helmet. It worked well, though the reception was a little fuzzy at times.

One Step for Man, One Giant Leap for Mankind

Today marks momentous occasion. There have been several events throughout history that have greatly contributed to our advancement and economical success. Some examples have been the discovery of fire, the invention of the automobile, the television, and the first successful landing on the moon.

Today, there has occurred once again a moment in history that must be noted and placed among such great events. Josh and I tonight used 3 pots and a George Forman Grill to make dinner. We believe this to be the 1st time men have attempted to use more than 1 pot to make dinner.

Note: a microwave was not used in any part of tonight’s meal, another phenomenal act of achievement by men.

Another year has begun

Well here I am, it’s now 2006. I’ve graduated from college, and I’m working doing the thing that I want to do with my life. So far 2006 has been good to me. I was able to attend my first Life Impact conference. It was amazing, not just for the amount of knowledge and inspiration I was able to take in from the speakers but also from being able to see friends from all over the country. Then I was given the opportunity to travel with one of the most awesome and amazing group of people from Colorado to New Orleans to help gut out houses from Katrina. The picture is our group. Props to you guys and gals. I know you will think I’m lying when I say this but I’m missing you guys already. Thanks for letting me tag along. Can't wait to be with ya'll this summer.

You may also have noticed that this is in fact a new posting that is because I now have a computer thanks to Crumpy. He got a new one and I’m getting to use his old one and for that I’m very thankful. I do hope to have more posting now, at least once a month.

some thoughts

Ok, well due to the mass amounts of requests to update my blog I have done so. We are ending another year. With the end of this year I have also ended my college career.

As I reflect on my time at the University of Oklahoma I have seen many fads come and go. The Ipod by far is the newest crave to take over colleges all over America. All I see as I walk around campus are the white earphones that signify the presence of an Ipod.

Another fad is the growing of mens hair. My freshman year had guys with long hair but it worked for them, nowdays, every guy around is growing their hair out. For most and I mean most like over 90% of the guys that grow their hair out it does not work, but that has not stop it's growing popularity. I am sad to say that I too have fallen into its trap, however I grew my hair out only to later trim it into a beautiful mullet. So I do belive I am spared from the fate that all men who grow their hair out must face because I never intended to look "good" when growing it.

I am sure there are other fads that have come and gone but I have lost interest in this posting so I am going to quit.
